Meeting Location

The meeting will take place in Room C/D of the Neuroscience Center at 6001 Executive Boulevard, Bethesda, MD 20892. 

Please allow a minimum of 15 minutes to get through security. You will need to obtain a visitors badge, so please bring a government-issued photo ID.

Transportation to the Neuroscience Center

From the Hotel:

Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center: The Neuroscience Center is a 10 minute walk or short taxi ride from the hotel.

By Metro: The meeting location is about a half-mile walk from the Metro’s White Flint station (subway).  Metrorail service is available from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and from Union Station (railway). Take Metro's Red Line to the White Flint station. For more information, visit Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority

Driving/Parking: The Neuroscience Center is located close to the Capital Beltway (I-495). Although attendees are encouraged to take Metro, limited parking is available for a fee.

Airports: Three airports serve the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. 

• Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport — 20 miles
• Dulles International Airport — 25 miles
• Baltimore Washington International Airport — 35 miles

Shuttle: Super Shuttle service is available at the approximate rate of $25–$60 ((800) 258-3826, Super Shuttle).

Security

All NIH visitors must go through a security clearance and present a government-issued photo ID to receive a visitor's badge.

Hotel

Sponsored participants: Rooms have been reserved at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center, 5701 Marinelli Road, North Bethesda, MD 20852. Please call (877) 212-5752 and reference the Spinal Cord Injury Preclinical Data Workshop: Developing a FAIR Share Community. Rooms must be confirmed by August 25, 2016.

Dining 

The government cannot provide any food or beverage. Lunch will be sponsored; details will be provided at a later date.

Internet Access
Free and open WiFi is available at the Neuroscience Center. SSID “NIH-Guest-Network” is open and in broadcast mode so you should be able to see it in your available wireless networks. To use the network, please open a browser and accept the terms and conditions.
